Step by step usage

  1. Examine the example and prepare the blank file

Open one line for each product and day. If additional production was made on the same day, update the production total. Catering and disposal should not be included in the quantity sold. All quantities are per piece; Do not include products sold by the kilogram in this file. Price is the fixed unit sales amount during the day. Use the yellow input fields on the tracking page; Do not change the blue formula fields. The sample sheet is filled with fictitious records and does not count towards the actual work total.

  2. Write actual records in the yellow fields

The remainder at the end of the day is production − sales − catering − destruction. Sales amount is units sold × unit price. Sales ratio is sold/produced. If production is zero, the rate remains empty; All outputs must also be zero. Repetition of the same date-product and excess output from production creates a control warning. General sales ratio is total number of sales / total number of production. An empty mandatory field is distinguished from a real zero. Correct missing or incorrect records in the control column; Since these lines are excluded from the summary, do not use the total as a final report until the problem is resolved.

  3. Fix control alerts and review summary

Review remaining quantity by day and product. Evaluate the reasons for destruction with treats separately.

Frequently asked questions

Will the remaining product be automatically transferred to the next day?

No. The file is the daily production distribution. Handover and product safety decisions are separate processes.

What if there are two prices during the day?

Single line assumes fixed price. Do not use the sales amount as the final cash result from this file; Reconcile the cash register.

Does destruction affect sales rate?

Since the denominator is production and the numerator is sales, the destruction rate does not increase. Disposal is deducted from the remaining amount as a separate output.
