Calculation method
For each role, the planned person, allowed person, and safe minimum are compared. A negative difference indicates a role gap that may occur if the leave is approved.
Worked example
Kitchen plan: 5 people. Permission: 2 people. Minimum: 4 people. Result: The remaining capacity is 3 and the difference is -1; the manager evaluates the day off, shift change, or additional coverage option.
